MMR clinics touring throughout public schools
The Department of Public Health began its outreach clinics at the island's public schools today in order to tackle the mumps outbreak. A team from the agency and the Centers for Disease Control were at the Chief Brodie, Machanaonao and Tamuning elementary schools.
Guam - The Department of Public Health began its outreach clinics at the island's public schools today in order to tackle the mumps outbreak. A team from the agency and the Centers for Disease Control were at the Chief Brodie, Machanaonao and Tamuning elementary schools.
The group will conduct clinics at Astumbo Middle School in Dededo and will continue vaccinations at Machanaonao tomorrow. On Thursday, they will be at Adacao Elementary and F.B. Leon Guerrero Middle school, then on Friday at Untalan Middle.
The agency has received over 200 cases of the mumps to date.
