Fire chief publicly squabbles with captain
There was plenty of heat at the National Office Supply this morning...and not just because of the fire at the company's Barrigada store. A heated verbal argument is now the subject of an internal affairs investigation.

Guam - There was plenty of heat at the National Office Supply this morning...and not just because of the fire at the company's Barrigada store. A heated verbal argument is now the subject of an internal affairs investigation.
Fire Chief Dave Peredo showed up to the scene at around 8:30 this morning and scolded a fire captain for not wearing bunker gear or personal protective equipment in the recovery area near the fire. The captain evidently was taking a break from fighting the fire.
The incident escalated resulting in the captain getting into a verbal argument with Chief Peredo.
