Guam - KUAM will have to wait another two days before our motion to quash will be heard before a judge in the Superior Court of Guam. A hearing has now been scheduled for Wednesday before Judge Vern Perez at 2pm. The company's initial hearing Friday before Superior Court Judge Anita Sukola was brief as she recused herself from hearing the motion, citing a conflict in that KUAM News reporter Mindy Aguon's husband was a relative of her law clerk.

Although on Friday, it was mentioned that Superior Court Judge Steven Unpingco would be reviewing the litigation - no reason was provided as to why it was now assigned to Perez. KUAM's attorneys in the meantime will be filing more documents in support of the motion to quash the search warrant.

KUAM contends its Constitutional rights were violated, specifically the privileges of the media granted under the federal Privacy Protection Act of 1980.
