Guam - If you're out on the streets this week, you may want to stay clear from construction projects around the island. For your benefit, here's your weekly road construction guide.

Yigo
Expect delays along Marine Corps Drive, as a contractor will be cutting the pavements on Route 1 at Wusstig Road in preparation for additional roadway work at that intersection. Anticipate daytime lane closures and short delays.

Dededo
Then there's major work at Alageta Road - traffic heading toward the airport from Route 26 will need to use Kalamasa Street or Ahau Street to get to Route 16. Reduce speeds on the local streets and near the construction area.

Hagatna-Chalan Pago
Next work continues along route four from McDonald's to Route 10. You're urged to follow construction signs and be aware that heavy construction equipment will be working in this area. Anticipate daytime lane closures and short delays. Nighttime paving operations will continue on Route 4. Anticipate lane closures and delays between 6pm and 6am. You may want to consider alternate routes.

Barrigada
Next expect some delays on Route 8a for the detour next to Happy Mart. Follow construction signs and anticipate lane closures and short delays.

Tamuning
Work continues along Route 10a or Airport Road. Crews will be removing existing guardrails and installing new ones. Daytime closures will be necessary.
