Guam - If you plan to hit the beaches this weekend, keep in mind that the Guam Environmental Protection Agency has deemed several island beaches as too polluted for the public's use. You and your family will want to steer clear of East Hagatna Bay through Trinchera Beach, Adelup Point Beach, Santos Memorial Park, Nimitz Beach, Toguan Bay, Merizo Pier and Inarajan Bay.
Swimming and fishing in these waters could cause illnesses such as sore throat and diarrhea.
