Guam - 50-year-old Jung Kim died early this morning from injuries she sustained when she was struck by a car on Tuesday. The incident happened along San Antonio Street in Barrigada. Kim was walking in the neighborhood when the driver of a 2005 Nissan Altima took his eyes off the road to grab his cigarettes and struck her.
Kim was transferred to the Critical Care Unit at the Guam Memorial Hospital last night and passed away just after 12:30 this morning. Her death marks the seventh traffic-related fatality this year to date.
