UOG hosts annual Math Day event
The University of Guam's Division of Mathematical Sciences hosted its annual Math Day today, with students from the island's public and private high schools.

By KUAM NewsGuam - The University of Guam's Division of Mathematical Sciences hosted its annual Math Day today, with students from the island's public and private high schools. Students were divided up into teams to solve math problems and other related activities.
The purpose of the event is to encourage young people to study math and develop an extensive cooperation with high school teachers and students. Winners of the 2010 Math Problem Solving Competition also received their awards during the event today.
