Guam - Department of Youth Affairs Director Pascual Artero says the two Chuukese minors that escaped from the facility yesterday got out through an open window. He says the pair then climbed onto the roof and went through the barbed wire before using their t-shirts to jump over the fenceline.

One is described as 15 years old with a tattoo of a letter "E" and "OS" and stands about 5'1"; the other is 18 is about 5'7" with a tribal tattoo on both arms.

While DYA is working with the Guam Police to locate the two, Artero says the investigation for the first reported escape last month revealed a lack of supervision from one of the officers. He says they are planning what type of disciplinary action should be taken against the officer.

In the meantime, the investigation into the other escapes is ongoing.
