Guam - While Continental Airlines plans to add 34 charter flights into the region, the company today introduced its 10th additional Boeing 737 aircraft to its existing fleet. The $60 million investment is expected to add passenger capacity, as well as match travel demands.

Continental Director of Crew Resources John Driscoll says the Star Alliance aircraft includes 12 business and 112 coach seats, and that they are hoping to expand to more destinations.

"Flight operations, maintenance, everybody had to put in a lot of work to move this aircraft from Continental Certificate to Continental Micronesia," he said. Driscoll adds they anticipate four additional Star Alliance aircrafts this September.
