Woman sentenced to six months for drugs
by Mindy Aguon
Guam - Although faced with a maximum of sentence of two decades behind bars, Janet Sardoma was only sentenced to six months incarceration. She pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute crystal methamphetamine hydrocholoride.
She had her husband, Ken, admitted to selling the drug ice since November 2008. They would get the drugs mailed to them from a source in Tacoma, Washington and then sell the ice to people on the island. The feds recommended Sardoma receive a lesser sentence because of her cooperation.
Following her six months in jail, the court also ordered that she be placed on supervised release for three years with six months of home confinement.
