Guam - The Department of Public Health stepping up its enforcement of those who might be abusing their public assistance.  At least 14 people were disqualified from the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program and the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families Program. Those affected were found to have intentionally violated the rules.

Public Health advises those who are under both programs to make sure they continue to comply with all reporting requirements such as change of address or household members.
