Guam - Five public officials failed to meet public law mandating that financial disclosure reports be filed with the Guam Election Commission. Every year, government directors, commissioners, board members, judges, justices and elected officials are required to file the reports or file for a 180-day extension.
According to GEC staff the following are individuals who failed to meet the requirements of the law:
- Ronald Ayuyu - Guam Education Policy Board
- Michael J. Bordallo - Superior Court of Guam Judge
- Naomi E. Lujan Gonzales - Executive Director, Civil Service Commission
- Lee Meadows - Guam Education Policy Board
- James Underwood - Director, Commission on Decolonization
Although he didn't meet the mandates of the law, GEC Staff say Judge Michael Bordallo contacted their office informing them that he would file his report on Monday. For those who fail to file altogether they could be found guilty of a misdemeanor.
