Guam - The Guam Contractor's Association meets today and they'll be talking about changes to job requirements.  The keynote speaker will be U.S. Department of Labor Wage and Hour Division District Director Terence Trotter. He'll talk about the recent passage of the Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2010 and how contractors on Guam will have to use the Davis-Bacon Wage Determination for all military and federally-funded construction projects.

Meanwhile, the U.S. Department of Labor Wage & Hour Division will be back on Guam next month to conduct a wage survey and also hold a Guam prevailing wage conference.  Today's GCA meeting is being held at the Hyatt Hotel in Tumon.
