Director details Andersen AFB upgrades

Guam - Andersen Air Force Base is making some major upgrades and repairs.  Development Office Director Steve Wolborsky explained those plans along with the variety of exercises that the base has hosted before the Rotary Club of Tumon Bay this afternoon.

He told the membership, "There's some infrastructure projects going on, there's a new runway going in, our south runway is about to be completed, which has been about a year and a half-mile long project completely renovating the airfield, which has been important to the flying mission."
