Guam - The Department of Education is giving interested vendors until the end of the month to respond to a request for proposal for a third-party fiduciary agent. Deputy Superintendent for Finance and Administrative Services Taling Taitano says a couple of pre-proposal conferences were held last week wherein DOE was able to address several questions brought up by the vendors.

"What we're hoping to do is start the review procedure the first week in May," Taitano confirmed.  "The first thing we'll do is go through the proposals that are submitted in make sure they're complete and of those that are complete, we'll go ahead and have them evaluated by the evaluation committee."

Taitano says once the reviews are complete, DOE will be working with the University of Guam to help setup videoconference to help accommodate off-island companies.
