Guam - This week marks Earth Week, with this year's theme being "I Am A Green Generation".  In order to promote efforts, beach cleanups like those of the KUAM CareForce and various school festivals have been planned throughout the week.

Guam Environmental Protection Agency Spokesperson Gerry Cruz encourages everyone to take proactive steps to help the environment, telling KUAM News, "As a reminder, reduce, reuse and recycle.  It's something we have to tackle on the island especially with issues like our landfill, our coral reef, and our land.  We don't want to pollute our northern land aquifer."
