Guam - The Guam Attorney General's Office is warning the community about a charitable donation scam. The AG has received several reports about an individual approaching residents for monetary donations for a deceased child whose body needs to be flown back to Guam from the United States for burial.

The AG continues to look into the matter, and has determined so far that the solicitation is bogus.

Consumers are urged to report suspicious requests for charitable donations to the AG's Consumer Protection Unit at 475-3324, extension 171.
