Filing deadline for Decision 2010 is July 6
The Guam Election Commission says the deadline to file candidacy for this year's Decision 2010 Primary Election is July 6 at 5pm.

Guam - The Guam Election Commission says the deadline to file candidacy for this year's Decision 2010 Primary Election is July 6 at 5pm. GEC Executive Director John Blas urges all interested individuals to have the required documents when turning in their packets to avoid from being turned away.
He noted, "We want to make sure that in their process to candidacy, they file the documents appropriately and accordingly and that they don't leave anything out, because once the deadline comes, the GEC will actually shut its doors at 5pm and we will not take any other filings after that time."
Recently the Guam Education Policy Board's legal counsel, Frank Gumataotao, picked up a packet for the attorney general race, while Alejandro Gay, Rory Respicio, Corinna Gutierrez Ludwig and Dr. Velma Harper picked up a packet for the race for the 31st Guam Legislature.
