Guam - The Department of Corrections is moving forward with its efforts to hire 26 new officers. DepCor Director J.B. Palacios says the interview process will be held this week with about 60 individuals. Palacios says they will begin hiring in the next two weeks, and that the agency will take their time hiring these individuals as he says it takes a certain breed to work at a detention facility.

The new officers will be placed at the Hagatna and Mangilao corrections compounds.
