Guam - I Nasion Chamoru (The Chamorro Nation) will hold a candlelight vigil tomorrow night to commemorate what would have been the late senator Angel Santos' 51st birthday. The late senator sparked a movement of consciousness about Guam's indigenous people that has lasted since his untimely passing in 2003. He fought for the implementation of the Chamoru Land Trust Act as well as the return of excess federal lands.
The vigil will be held tomorrow at Angel L.G. Santos Latte Stone Park in Hagatna at 7pm.
