Guam - 47 employees at the Guam Waterworks Authority will finally get the pay raise they've been waiting for.  Consolidated Commission on Utilities Chairperson Simon Sanchez, however, says it's not a raise but an adjustment, as for the last few years the agency has not had the funds available to do this.

Sanchez says that due to recent success of the meter program, revenues at GWA are up and now the agency can afford to make sure no employee at the utility agency earns less than the 15% for a job compared to their counterparts in the United States. The adjustment kicks-in today and costs GWA about $300,000 to implement.
