Guam - The Department of Corrections and Mental Health held a conference call with U.S. Department of Justice today.  DepCor Director J.B. Palacios says the feds were pleased with the recent hiring of clinical administrator Dr. Andrea Leitheiser. He says they agreed on several policies, which include a full evaluation analysis, treatment, and care of inmates suffering from mental illness.

Another policy involves the handling and dispensing of medication to inmates. Palacios says another conference call is scheduled for April 27, with a hearing scheduled for June 16 to sever the permanent injunction involving the two agencies.
