Corrections officer in court for assault charges

Guam - Former Department of Corrections Officer Aric Garcia appeared in the Superior Court of Guam today as he faces charges of family violence and assault.  Garcia resigned from his post at the agency after being arrested on drug and other assault charges.

A further proceedings is scheduled for April 30.
