Guam - Simon Sanchez High School was three demerits away from being shut down during a health and safety inspection yesterday. According to Education Suruhanu Dominic Terlaje, numerous tires were located throughout various areas on campus, which could create a breeding ground for vectors.

Public Health also noted overgrown vegetation, leaks in the gymnasium and classrooms on the second floor and windows remain missing in the gym and are in disrepair, giving the Yigo campus a "C" rating. School officials have ten working days to have these issues addressed.
