Taiwan president stopped on Guam

The Taipei Consulate Office on Guam confirms Taiwan president Ma Ying-Jeou made a brief one-hour refueling stop on island overnight.

Guam - The Taipei Consulate Office on Guam confirms Taiwan president Ma Ying-Jeou made a brief one-hour refueling stop on island overnight. He is traveling with two-members of the U.S. State Department and will be visiting six countries in six days.

The Consulate Office confirms President Ma will be back on Guam Friday, when he will have meetings here, one being with the American Institute in Taiwan.
