Guam - Two of Guam's largest - and therefore statistically most significant - municipalities were the first villages to have their ballots tabulated for the Decision 2010 Special Election. After the polls officially closed at 8pm Saturday, the Guam Election Commission ran a smooth tabulation session at the University of Guam Field House in Mangilao.
Special Election Results so far (20 of 58 precincts accounted for, including Yona, Ordot-Chalan Pago, Mongmong-Toto-Maite, Barrigada, Mangilao, Dededo):
- Ada, Tony (49%)
- Thomas-Nededog, Sarah (20%)
- Benavente, Martin (10%)
- De Oro, Art (8%)
- Aguon, Roque (7%)
- Sarminento, William (6%)
Historically Dededo, by virtue of the mammoth number of registered voters that live in the island's most populous village, is among the last regions to be accounted for.
