Guam - Answering the pleas for assistance, Governor Felix Camacho will be detailing 30 government workers to the Department of Revenue & Taxation beginning April 1.  According to the Governor's Office, the details are part of the governor's efforts to collect revenues that are not being collected because of a shortage of personnel and resources at Rev & Tax.

Personnel with financial backgrounds are being identified at the various GovGuam agencies to be temporarily assigned to DRT for no more than 90 days.  Rev & Tax Director Art Ilagan says the initiative will help reduce the deficit by increasing revenues without having to increase taxes.
