Guam - The Guam Police Department's Criminal Investigation Division spent the weekend further looking into leads into the island's latest homicide. Vincent Bernardo Peredo, 31, was found murdered inside his Yona home almost a week ago. Police have not released details about how he was murdered or who discovered his lifeless body.
KUAM News has learned that two search warrants were executed and several individuals have been taken into custody. A search warrant was executed at a home in Yona; as well SWAT agents executed a search warrant at a home in Santa Rita late Sunday morning.
Authorities have not released any details surrounding the raids and have not explained their connection with the ongoing homicide investigation. Several people have been taken into custody for questioning, but police have not released any details revealing the identity of those they are interviewing.
Last Wednesday Peredo's widow Meriza made a plea to the public, asking anyone with information to come forward.
