Bordallo attends screening with Obama, Spielberg, Hanks

Guam congressional delegate Madeleine Bordallo spent some time with acclaimed director Steven Spielberg today.

Guam - Guam congressional delegate Madeleine Bordallo spent some time with acclaimed director Steven Spielberg today.  Bordallo actually attended a preview screening of HBO's new mini-series "The Pacific At the White House". President Barack Obama hosted Spielberg, Tom Hanks and Gary Goetzman, the producers of the mini-series, along with several military dignitaries.

Bordallo said the program showcased the sacrifice and courage of our servicemembers during the war in the Pacific and brings renewed attention the strategic value of Guam. She added President Obama was a gracious host and told her that he was looking forward to visiting Guam next week.

Details of the president's visit however, have not been disclosed.
