Guam - The investigation is underway to determine why a B-2 bomber caught fire at Andersen Air Force Base. The commander of Air Force Global Strike Command has appointed a safety investigation board to determine the cause of last week's B-2 engine fire.
According to Pacific Air Forces Public Affairs Chief Lieutenant Colonel Kenneth Hoffman, members of the board and technical experts have already arrived on Guam and have begun working. No one was seriously injured from the fire, but one person was treated for possible inhalation of fire suppression material.
There's been no word given word on how long the investigation might take.
