Guam - The Guam Community College received some visitors from the Accreditation Commission for Colleges and Junior Colleges. A self-assessment study was conducted today at the Fiesta Resort in Tumon. The Commission is a branch under the Western Association of Schools and Colleges and assesses not only GCC, but the Northern Marianas College, too.

While GCC is not up for accreditation until 2012, the self-study is necessary to see whether programs have improved and whether students are in fact learning in the classrooms.
