By KUAM NewsGuam - Improvements have been made at Carbullido Elementary School, which was paid a visit by the education suruhanu and regulatory agencies today. The team gave the campus an "AA" grade. Department of Education Facilities and Maintenance Manager Billy Cruz says the cafeteria was given two demerits for a rusty air curtain, while the facility was given eight demerits for overgrown vegetation, inoperable fire extinguishers and broken air conditioning units.
While DOE staffers work to correct those problems, Cruz says the school did progress from the "C" grade the task force gave from its previous inspection.
