Blas, Ada co-author Port bill

Guam - Senators Frank Blas, Jr. and Tom Ada have co-sponsored a bill dealing with the Port Authority. It was last week the agency's application for federal stimulus funds that would have gone for port modernization was rejected by the Department of Transportation, according to Bill 333 if the port is unable to secure any funding by June, then it must submit to the Legislature an amended master plan that caps improvements at $54 million.
