GEC board meeting this afternoon

The Guam Election Commission board will meet this afternoon at four o'clock to certify the candidates that are to be placed on next month's special election ballot.

Guam - The Guam Election Commission board will meet this afternoon at four o'clock to certify the candidates that are to be placed on next month's special election ballot. The six that filled out an application to run for senator were Martin Benavente, Sara Thomas Nededog, Tony Ada, Roque Aguon, Art De Oro and William Sarmiento.

Once the candidates are certified the GEC will then meet again at six o'clock to draw numbers for their placement on the ballot. The special election is scheduled for March 20.
