Roque Aguon declares candidacy

Guam - Roque Aguon, Jr. added his name to the list of candidates officially running in next month's special election.  Aguon filed this afternoon, and pending verification of petitions, his name will appear on the ballot along with Martin Benavente, Tony Ada and Sarah Thomas Nededog.

"It's a fresh direction," said Aguon.  "It's a fresh outlook, it's a fresh approach, a fresh generation with antigu values based upon family, friends, village, knowledge, respect and helping our people."

The deadline to file for candidacy in the March 20 special election is tomorrow.
