Guam - The 30th Guam Legislature has given the green light for the Guam Election Commission to use its current appropriations to fund the special election in March. The agency can later request for funding if still needed for the September and November elections.

There are about eleven candidates so far who have expressed an interest to run, but nothing has been filed yet. The deadline to file for candidacy is February 17.
