Guam - Residents can expect to pay more for power starting next month, as the Public Utilities Commission last night approved the Guam Power Authority's request to increase the fuel recovery charge portion of power bills of $12.96 per kilowatt hour by $0.15.
Customers are expected to see their bill increase from $0.09. The PUC also approved the Guam Waterworks Authority's new system development charge to take effect on March 1. An average home would cost approximately $5,600.
