Guam - After waiting four months for a public hearing to be held on his bill, Senator Eddie Calvo has decided he will hold one on his own on Bill 235. The legislation would appropriate the unreserved balance of the territorial education facilities fund to the Department of Mental Health for the I Famagu'on-ta program, DOE for classroom supplies, the Mayors Council of Guam for the maintenance and upkeep of school grounds, Public Health to fill vacancies for additional nurses and medical professionals, and GMH for the purchase of basic supplies for its patients.

Senator Calvo scheduled the hearing for Thursday, February 4 from 5-7pm in the Legislature's Public Hearing Room.
