Guam - Public Safety Committee chairman Senator Adolpho Palacios (D) is questioning the objectivity of the Guam Police Department with Police Chief Paul Suba's investigation. The lawmaker says this would have been an opportunity for the agency to show that even the chief is not immune to investigations.
Palacios says the ordering of patrol officers to stop their investigation is another instance that will contribute to the public's deterioration of confidence in GPD. He adds the chief should detach himself from the ongoing investigation and not pick which division looks into the matter.
