High school speech event honors MLK

In honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Day, tomorrow the Serve Guam Commission is planning an islandwide high school speech contest at the Father Duenas Memorial School cafeteria at 8 in the morning.  The theme of the contest is "Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. - The Dream."

Guam - In honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Day, tomorrow the Serve Guam Commission is planning an islandwide high school speech contest at the Father Duenas Memorial School cafeteria at 8 in the morning.  The theme of the contest is "Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. - The Dream." public and private school students grades 9 through 12 that wish to participate in the contest must give a 5 to 8 minute speech on Dr. King's dream, to be eligible for the cash prize of $100.

First second and third place will receive a trophy. The Serve Guam Commission will also be assisting the Girl Scouts of Guam at Cost-U-Less in Tamuning from 8am to 12pm.
