Guam - It's been almost three months since the final public hearing was held on Bill 185 and the committee report is still being finalized.  The controversial bill would legalize same-sex civil unions on Guam.

According to chairman of the Legislative Committee on Health and Human Services Frank Aguon, Jr., the report is almost finished. He's just waiting for several committee members to return from off-island.

Senator Aguon expects those senators to be available for signatures by Tuesday of next week as Monday is a holiday.
