Suicide prevention training at Westin

The Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse's Prevention and Training Branch took part in a training session for trainers in applied suicide intervention skills training at the Westin Hotel today.

Guam - The Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse's Prevention and Training Branch took part in a training session for trainers in applied suicide intervention skills training at the Westin Hotel today. Certified Living works trainers are on Guam this week to train participants to become registered trainers in suicide first aid. 

Mental Health was awarded a Garrett Lee Smith Memorial Grant. One of its goals is on workforce development and building knowledge and skills when it comes to suicide intervention.
