Guam - Former D.L. Perez Elementary School teacher Fredrick Fernsler may be on unpaid leave from the Department of Education, but he is still waiting on the outcome of his criminal case.  A pre-trial conference was scheduled to be held on Tuesday, but the hearing was continued until later this month.

Fernsler pleaded not guilty to charges of criminal sexual conduct.  He is accused of inappropriately touching at least one female student and had video surveillance cameras secretly hidden in his classroom.

Another pre-trial conference is scheduled for January 26.
