Guam - The National Weather Service reports a High Surf Advisory that will go into effect for Guam and the CNMI at 6 this evening. Weather officials say high surf will affect exposed reefs and beaches producing dangerous rip currents.

Residents can expect hazardous surf of 7 to 9 feet through Monday morning on north facing reefs. Officials also urge the community to avoid venturing near these areas over the weekend as rip currents will be life-threatening.
