Guam - Members of the Guam Police Department's Government Corruption Task Force executed a pair of search warrants this afternoon in connection with an ongoing investigation into alleged improprieties at the Guam Fire Department. KUAM News caught up with several task force members who were exiting the Department of Administration's Payroll Offices in Hagatna, carrying several folders of documents.

Officer John Mantanona wouldn't provide specifics of what they were looking for, only saying the GPD investigation surrounds time sheets and other payroll-related documents.  KUAM News sources confirm that one of the investigations deal with one assistant fire chief receiving overtime and other compensation they were not entitled to.
