Guam - The Department of Mental Health's battle against receivership continues, as both parties were required to submit a list of possible receivers by this week.  Attorney for the plaintiffs Daniel Sommerfleck filed yesterday, recommending doctors Anthony Menditto and Felix Vincenz, physicians with Silverlake, behavioral consultants that conducted multi-disciplinary treatment evaluations on some 200 Mental Health and DISID consumers on Guam several years ago.

Department of Mental Health Director Dr. David Shimizu says that so far he's identified one possible candidate at a non-profit organization in Hawaii.  "We've put out shoutouts, if you want to call it, through the professional networks, we've put out shoutouts to our federal counterparts, agencies and also we've put out shoutouts to this non-profit organizations. So we do have one today," he told KUAM News.

Shimizu added that he would be submitting that candidate by the end of today.
