Guam - Fitness gurus will soon have an alternative way to exercise. Paradise Fitness Center will soon be offering Les Mills classes for its members. Master trainer from Les Mills Asia-Pacific Judy King says the form of training was developed in New Zealand and has since branched off to different parts of the world.
The programs are designed to focus on different fitness styles to include dance, martial arts, weight training and yoga. "They take some of the authenticity of those programs and bring into a great fitness program," said King. "So it's changed a little bit and is designed to cater to more people and cater to the people that come to fitness."
King will be on island this week to train instructors at Paradise Fitness Centers to allow for members to enjoy the workout experience. She says it's a powerful workout for all to enjoy.
In the meantime, the centers are expected to start regular classes by the end of the month.
