Guam - A conference call between the Department of Education and its federal counterpart is scheduled for this Thursday. According to DOE Superintendent Dr. Nerissa Bretania Underwood, local officials are expected to receive feedback from the U.S. Department of Education on a third draft request for proposal.

One of the issues being discussed is the funding source for a third-party fiduciary agent, which is part of the application for the stimulus funds. Bretania Underwood remains hopeful that DOE will have a third party in place by March.
