Guam - As we say goodbye to one platoon heading to Camp Atterbury, Indiana en route Afghanistan this week, Major General Donald Goldhorn says we can expect another platoon of 30 from the Guam Army National Guard to leave for the Southern Philippines in the next few weeks.
"We are engaged with the armed forces of the pi in ongoing forces training in the pi and our soldiers are part of that mission," he told KUAM News.
The Guam Army National Guard has deployments all over the world, and as Goldhorn points out, these men and women are supporting the United States of America's mission to defend the homeland.
We pray for everyone's safe and speedy return home to Guam.
