Guam - The Guam Memorial Hospital is making strides in improving its collections.  In an audit released last week by the Office of Public Accountability one of the findings was the lack of a formal patients' receivable policy.  GMH Spokesperson Connor Murphy says they are hoping to finalize a formal protocol in the beginning of this year, which will improve the hospital's financial standing.

Murphy added, "We're making a lot of progress in improving how we collect from patients because as we collect from patients then we can have more money to run better as a hospital and expand what we have here."
